Southeast Conclave ’09

This past weekend, Kevin and Ryan went to Atlanta (better known by many as “The ATL”) as exhibitors at Conclave.  As exhibitors, you need to attract attention.  You can do this one of two ways:

1) Spend thousands of dollars on creating a booth.  Lights, GIANT banners, 5 flat screen tv’s, and so on and so forth.  This is the most common way…and in all honesty, probably the best.

2) Spend as little money as possible on 3 essential things: A single banner, water bottles that look like they’re from your Jr. High basketball camp in 1993, and Wal-Mart wardrobes.

With LRG just starting up, the thousands of dollars just aren’t quite there yet.  So, we opted for the second option.  The result:

We also took with us our Wii and our television in order to challenge as many people as we could to Wii Sports matches.  But in some cases, we inadvertently created some inner-church rivalries between youth pastors and their elders:

We’re really sorry if you guys went back home harboring any grudges about that boxing match.  Did we mention that LRG can be available for staff retreats?
